At the beginning of 2022, iMove PT had the goal of implementing user-friendly technology to better serve our patients and the communities in which we treat.
The Sway Medical application is an app our therapists have on their cell phones that is an all-in-one accessible solution that allows therapists to collect rapid objective data and measurements to best care for our patients.
On the application, our therapists are able to choose from many different balance tests to use on our patients in order to best measure their balance and assess their fall risk. The tests used in the Sway Medical application are research-backed and measure balance, stability, and functional abilities. The measurements given on the application allow our therapists to set measurable, functional goals for patients, all while improving safety and reducing fall risk in their homes and the community.
The Sway Medical application offers versatility for our therapists to choose different tests for patients through individual patient profiles. The app also allows for set up of community events, like health fairs and health talks, that gives great baseline findings to show patrons and educate on different ways to improve their testing outcomes.
