iMove PT therapists have been busy over the last few months not only with treating their patients, but educating the communities in which they serve. 

Dr. Samantha Curry speaks about Sway balance

Dr. Samantha Curry, PT, DPT is working together with the activity coordinator at Mason Pointe in Chesterfield, Missouri to provide residents with a monthly

health talk on various topics related to senior living. Recently, she and Dr. Michael Gorman talked about Improving Balance to Improve your Quality of Life. Following their talk, they performed balance assessments with use of the Sway Medical app on any residents that were interested. Dr. Curry will be performing another health talk in April.

 

Dr. Jill Oertle, PT, DPT, recently participated in a community health fair at Jerseyville Community Hospital in Jerseyville, Illinois. At this event, patrons could get free blood pressure screenings, free COVID-19 testing kits, and learn about different healthcare providers in the community. Dr. Oertle shared information about iMove PT to over 60 patrons and vendors. She even had a visit from the local Safety Dog!

 

 

Dr. Kaylee WeberDr. Kaylee Weber PT, DPT and Dr. Jill Oertle PT, DPT have provided different health talks at Villa Rose Senior Living Facility in Bethalto, Illinois over the past couple months with great turnout. Topics have included winter wellness tips for seniors and improving balance. These talks occur every month, with the next talk happening in April.
