We have had several patients tell us after they completed their physical therapy program they were a little sad to see the weekly treatments come to a halt. Past patients often ask if they could continue to meet with their therapist to help them maintain, and continue to improve on, the progress they worked so hard for.

Most people do not realize that there are guidelines that both the insurance companies, as well as, physical therapists must abide by. One of these guidelines prevents the ability to continue treating a patient purely for maintenance or upkeep.
